  1. Two major factors resonated with me as I read this article. As with many issues in our lives, in-law or otherwise, time and dimished expectations are often the key factors. When you live long enough, you get to experience and see many changes in peoples’ behavior. If you can follow your rules and not be miffed when the other side does not, you have already won.
